The Beginning....

Thanks to some wise words I have decided to write a blog about my progress as a photographer.


I have been taking photographs since I was a child. The fact that I could capture an image, a moment in time, has always amazed me.  It's only more recently however that I have been able to get myself some good cameras and actually have the faith in myself that I do actually have some talent, that my shots aren't all just pure luck, that I actually have a good eye for a photo.


I currently use a Fuji digital as my main camera as well as three Lomography camera's - a fish eye, a multi lens and the new addition to the family -a Diana F+ :)


Yesterday morning was a perfect example of the fact that I can see so many things in terms of a picture. When I see an image - I automatically see a photograph. As my boyfriend played with his nephew, I took a photograph of the toy cars. I really like this image, as it wasn't staged (see below) It was just a photo of something happening in the moment.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out. 

I hope that this blog will go some way to documenting my progress as a photographer :)
